Refund & Cancellation Policy

At IndiaOneMatrimony, we strive to provide reliable and quality matchmaking services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing subscription payments, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with applicable Indian laws including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

By using our platform and making a payment, you agree to this policy.

Important Notice: All subscription payments are final and non-refundable, except in cases of verified technical errors, duplicate transactions, or payment failures, subject to review and approval by our team.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Users may cancel their subscription at any time via account settings or by contacting support.
  • Cancellation will stop future auto-renewal billing only.
  • No refunds shall be issued for the current billing cycle or unused services.
  • Users are responsible for cancelling before the renewal date.
  • No cancellation charges apply.
  • User data may be retained for up to 30 days post-cancellation unless deletion is requested.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 General Non-Refundability

  • All subscription plans, matchmaking services, and communication features are non-refundable once activated.
  • No refunds will be provided for dissatisfaction with matches, change of mind, lack of usage, or unmet expectations.

3.2 Exceptions (Technical Errors Only)

  • Refunds may be issued only in cases of duplicate payment, payment deducted but service not activated, or verified payment gateway technical failure.
  • User must report such issues within 48 hours of the transaction.
  • Refunds will be processed after verification and credited via the original payment method.
  • Processing time: 5-10 business days depending on bank/payment gateway.

3.3 Non-Refundable Charges

  • Payment gateway fees, platform charges, and applicable GST are non-refundable unless required by law.

4. Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention

  • Users agree not to initiate false or fraudulent chargebacks.
  • We reserve the right to contest chargebacks with evidence and suspend accounts involved in disputes.
  • We may recover dues through legal means if necessary.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed via third-party gateways (Razorpay, Paytm, PayU, etc.) and are subject to their terms.
  • We are not responsible for payment failures due to bank or network issues.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by payment providers.

6. Limitation of Liability

IndiaOneMatrimony acts solely as a platform for matchmaking and does not guarantee match success, compatibility, or outcomes.

  • We are not responsible for user interactions or decisions made on the platform.
  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Compliance with Indian Laws

This policy is governed by the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Nothing in this policy limits statutory consumer rights under applicable law.

8. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably via support. Failing resolution, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
